It’s time to gather the friends and family for an evening of sparkling Christmas lights hosted by the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Ruidoso Festival of Lights Parade returns Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. The parade starts on Sudderth and Mechem and will conclude in front of the Chamber of Commerce building.
This year, the Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Toys for Tots. During the parade, make sure you keep an eye out for the Toys for Tots float which will be collecting toys throughout the parade route. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate!
After the parade in Midtown, head over to the after-party at Wingfield Park to enjoy food, drinks, winter activities for the kids, fire pits for roasting marshmallows, and an outdoor movie on the big screen. Santa will also be showing up to the party for pictures.
Both events are free.
