Ruidoso Parks and Recreation, Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Ruidoso Midtown Association present Halloween in Ruidoso!
Grab the whole family, get your best costumes on, and head to Midtown Ruidoso Wednesday, October 26, for trick or treating and other Halloween fun like pumpkin carving.
There is a costume contest for kiddos 17 and younger and the adults can compete for a chance to win $500 in the coffin race or pumpkin roll. Yes, actually rolling a pumpkin, not the delicious dessert.
Here’s the schedule:
3 to 6 p.m. Trick or Treating
Tip: Candy is usually gone by 5 p.m., so don’t be late!
4 p.m. Coffin Race
The fastest coffin wins a $500 prize. Get your teams of three registered with the Ruidoso Midtown Association for your chance to win!
5:30 p.m. Pumpkin Roll
Enter into the Pumpkin Roll race by purchasing a $5 pumpkin on site. The race takes place on Eagle Street. The fastest pumpkin wins a $500 prize!
